    Rookie from Texas

I THINK I've had a lot of fun on 6th street a few times. Don't remember much of it, so it must have been fun. :mug:

    Water treatment question

Thanks for the explanation. Going to follow the primer for my next brew and see how that works out. I may send a few samples off this year just out of curiosity, but from your explanation I'm not sure that it would do me much good.

    Water treatment question

Thanks for the info. I looked over the profile they sent me to check my numbers and saw that I had misread part of it. The alkalinity I listed is labeled as P. Alkalinity as CaCO3. Not sure what the P. means. Farther down there is a listing of Total Alkalinity as CaCO3 which shows 269. Now...

    Newbie in OK

Ahhhh, Norman. Love the Abner Ale House there. Any place with a beer menu that has over 200 beers and a wait staff that actually knows something about said beers is a great place. Foods not half bad either

    Hidey Ho from northeast Texas

Long time lurker, first time poster. Not completely new to brewing, but haven't brewed much over the past few years. SWMBO let me pick out my own Christmas present this year however, so I'm getting some much needed equipment upgrades. Looking forward to getting back to brewing after...
