I have to second Nateo on Rock Bottom. I had forgotten about the Tap House. I'd recommend Tap House over Rock Bottom. You have a good chance of getting something on your wish list (not necessarily local) at the Tap House.

I brewed the Cannonball Stout Jan 23rd. Everything went well for me. I made a 2 liter yeast starter and still pitched a second vial as well (too many reports of stuck cannonball fermentation made me nervous). I still worry that it wasn't enough. The calculations call for much higher yeast...

the chill plate gets uniformly frosted. Sometimes it takes longer for it to freeze than others. I have been trying to play around with it, turning it off and back on again to see if I can snap it back into shape (and to keep the rootbeer from turning into one solid ice cube).
