Every dry hop is a gusher?

I dry hop 90% of my beers and I have had no issue. Hop particles in bottled beer shouldn't be the issue here. Something else in your sanitation process must be causing this issue.

Chill haze- Bottled clear, pours hazy

You know, this is something that I have changed since converting to all grain. I use St. Paul tap water and treat it with campden tablets. I was told this water will work just fine from the manager at northern brewer.

Chill haze- Bottled clear, pours hazy

This has started happening ever since I switched from extract to all grain. I've bottled cloudy extract beer, and after conditioning in the bottle it cleared out perfectly. Now since I have been doing all grain. I have bottled 3 batches in a row of clear beer, and after chilling its hazy. It...

    Bottled my Caribou Slobber today.

It's a good beer. I have a few stowed away that have aged for the last 6 months. I'm excited to try it and see how the flavors have changed over time.

    Purchasing Ingredients?

Farmhouse is where I got my hops, they have great prices. I just purchased 8oz of 2012 simcoe, 4 oz centennial, 1 lb cascade, and 8 oz chinook. All for around $40 with shipping

    Purchasing Ingredients?

I just ordered two pounds of hops. I will have probably about 2.5 lbs in the freezer now. They are always nice to have on hand and I make my recipes around my inventory.

Would like to get away from kit brewing snd do my own recipes

Beersmith is the handiest of tools. Once I purchased it, I started making my own recipes in no time. Once you know the general ingredients that go into a typical style of beer, you can go from there and experiment with different malts.

    Falconers Flight IPA Recipe, thoughts?

I wasn't a huge fan and the only reason why was because the fermentation temp got a little warm. On the other hand, all of my friends enjoyed it a lot. If I did it again, id make a little lighter in color and use wyeast1272 instead. Falconers flight is tasty. Very fruity and citrusy

    Aerating wort with pure O2

This just seems like one of those things I am not going to concern myself with, for now. Using pure O2 is an upgrade from what I was doing before regardless. This seems like such a small thing to tinker with. My money can be spent better otherwise. For example, just bought a refractometer...

    Aerating wort with pure O2

I have recently started aerating my wort with pure O2 from an oxygen tank and the dual gauge oxygen regulator that came from a welding kit. How long do you aerate the wort for? Do you aerate it slowly or open it up quite a bit? I did for maybe 2 minutes and varied without the amount I was...

Hit OG and volumes on 3rd all grain batch and it feels good

I was trying to lift my pot a good 5 feet or so. I had my cooler mash tun on a cart which makes it quite high. They biggest reason it slipped was due to the oven mitt's that I was wearing. They don't offer a lot of grip. I would buy a mill but they are quite expensive. It would take a lot of...
