I have a 15 gal brew kettle from stout and I love it. I whirlpool for 10-15 min and then let it rest for another 20 min. Then I transfer thru a counter flow chiller. The tri-clamps are great. John at stout's is really nice to work with.

ahhh, Placed and paid Feb 9th. Lot's of upgrades and some modification ($$$). He's also done work to my brand new kettles sent straight to him from Blichmann. This puppy better hum and need nothing when it finally does get here. There were UPS labels made for Stand and two kettles on Aug 12th...

As far as stands go, I would give this site a look. www.brewersequipment.com/ I have a stand on the way from Marcus, and he was great to work with. Just be patient. I think he's very busy these days. For the affordable prices he charges, I can understand why.

Are the wires resistant to moisture? Do you guys use these during your mash, and just leave it submerged in the mash tun? If so what type thermocouple did you guys go with? Thanks for any help.
