I've seen the jockey boxes I just was trying to go cheap for now. Seems like the wort chiller would be clean, only thing that runs through it is water.

I was wondering if anyone has used there wort chiller to cool there beer? I was thinking of hooking keg to wort chiller and putting it in ice water. Then just putting picnic tap on other end. Any reasons not to do this?

After the beer has been bottled and been sitting for a couple weeks, is it safe to store in the garage or will the swing in tempature affect the taste? The garage has been around the forties and fifties. I wanted to put my beer in the garage to condition it. Is it cold enough?

I got my starter kit from morebeer.com. it had everything I needed for extract brews except the bottles. I think the only thing I bought seperate was the fitting to hook my chiller to the faucet.

Can I take a room temp keg, put it on ice, than return to room temp without affecting the quality of the beer? For example, putting it on ice for a party.

What should I get for my keg? I see that people use freezers but I would think your beer would freeze easily. Anyone know what a common temperature is for a keg?
