AGREED. The stand he referenced looks like a POS anyway. OP's looks well made. Hell I'd buy it if I were in Pennsylvania. Instead I think I'll spend 3 or 4 weekends sweating and grinding and drilling and welding. You shouldn't have a problem moving it at or very close to $400. Nice stand!

I would definitely not recommend putting a keggle on an electric stovetop for a number of reasons. First, a keggle empty weighs 30 lbs. Add 6 gals of wort and you're looking at about 80 lbs on your stovetop. In addition, a 2' tall keg on a 3' tall stovetop wouldn't be the easiest thing to work...
