Here's to Orfy! Repeat customer here, brewed up 12ish gallons last night, didn't go perfectly, mashed a little low at 152 but for 90 mins, ended up at 1.040 so should get down pretty well. I ended up with 14ish gallons into the BK so I did a 90 minute boil but kept the additions at 45/15...

I bought a few of these new and have used them for both grain storage and fermentation with good results fermenting - just drilled a hole for a stopper in the top and popped an airlock in.

I'm not really sure how low sours usually finish, but anything at 1.002 is going to be really thin.

Last night I had the pleasure of tasting a new IIPA to Founders' lineup: 10K IPA. Highly recommended.

I wouldn't pitch it directly, but if you want an answer about viability I would make a starter with it as soon as you can (if you're doing the other one this weekend) and see how it goes. Should be fine.

Blood orange season is apparently more towards March/April, so I used some other sweet orange. Probably going to bottle on Saturday and I'll report back in a few weeks! Thanks guys :rockin:
