    Grits?

Since I am a good Southerner, I may have to try them in a recipe. Let me know if any of you have one.

    Grits?

Saw grits listed on one site, are these the grits we eat here in the South? What kid of recipe would you use them in?

    Bottled first batch today!

I did look over the bottling tips before I started and it helped alot. I bottled a few batches about 10 years ago, but moved right after that and did not start back. Went well this time. I put pics in my profile, but not sure how to put them in a post yet. Will keep you posted.

    Bottled first batch today!

Well my first batch in about 10 years at least. Red Ale from a Williams Brew Kit. Added a pound of light brown sugar, I guess just to make it my own. OG 1.052, final at 1.018. Maybe my only mistake was almost running out of bottles. I will see what Red Dawn Ale taste like in a few weeeks!

    Hello from Columbus, GA

Great to know there are some guys from Columbus on here. I am a noob (well not all the way, brewed some years ago, but not many). Would love to hear about any clubs in the area. Happy brewing (and drinking).
