What other hobbies do you have?

Aside from home brewing, I have been smoking and collecting cigars for about 8 years now. I also watch a lot of movies. I don't know if that is a hobby or just laziness at it's finest :mug:

    What are you drinking now?

I am drinking a few of my Sleepy Hollow Pumpkinhead Ales and then will probably end the night with an Ithica Flower Power.

    Just started, but . . . Proud!

Congrats on your first brew! As someone else said, make your second batch sooner than you think. Your friends will like your homebrew more than you know. ;)

    What are you drinking now?

I was drinking Hopslam on tap this past weekend-sooo good! Drinking a 90 min IPA now then moving on to Southern Tier Back Burner Barleywine.

    Dogfish 120 Minute Imperial IPA

Mine sit in the darkest corner of the basement and stay at generally 60 degrees.

    Dogfish 120 Minute Imperial IPA

120 min is a beer meant to be aged. I had 2011 Bigfoot and personally didnt think it was that good. 2010 is drinking good now, and 2009 is unbelievable. If you decide to buy a bottle of 120 min, do it justice and age it at least a year.

    DFH 120 minute clone

Thanks for posting the process of cloning this infamously big beer. I would want to try this in the future-seems like a good test of how patient you can be with a complicated, lengthly homebrewing process.

You know you are a homebrewer when...

When you get a lb. of gourmet coffee for Christmas from the in-laws and your first thought is "This would be good in a Terrapin Wake & Bake clone" :)

    What's your profession?

I currently work for a textile company as an auditor (we do blood filters for hospitals, water filtration, etc) I am also a craft brewer in training :mug:

Thanks for the link! Now I dont have to wait until Discovery Channel pulls their head out of their a$$ to show it

Whats your favorite hop/ combination ?

For bittering, Warrior and Magnum are my favorite. For aroma, I love the dankness that comes from a solid Amarillo/Simcoe dry hop:rockin:
  18. Danbreeze

My first brew of 2012 is a drainpour...

+1 to that. Before you dump your next supposed "bad batch", please refer to the multitude of threads here on HBT that advise you not to ;)

    What are you drinking now?

I am actually finishing a tall glass of Sailor Jerry & ginger, then I will be drinking a Southern Tier Choklat to finish out the evening.
