    How does everyone clean blowoff hose?

    someone mentioned a bottle brush. made me think about the "bore snake" rifle barrel cleaner i have. you could probably tie a string or something to a brush and somehow feed the string through the tube first so you can then pull the brush through. should work. i am a noob so i really havent...

    picked up the new Magic Hat sampler. has their hex octoberfest which is ok but im real happy with their HIPA limited edition brew. its pretty good!

    Good price on some 10/3 wire

    home depot around me sells 10/3 UF (wet,damp locations and can bury it) by the foot. May save you some money if you do not need 50 or 100 ft rolls. they also have the cheaper regular 10/3 nm (orange colored) for indoor use.

    The small brewing book that came with my brewing kit has a section that explains how to do it. I am at work though and do not have it with me. Just wanted to tell you that it is possible and im sure someone will answer with more details. If i recall its very similar to making any other starter.
