Bottled this morning. I had 2 25 litre buckets fermenting, each with a packet of Belle Saison. Bucket 1 started at 1.055 and finished at 1.003 Bucket 2 started at 1.05 and finished at 1.001. Taste of both buckets was really good, and the smell is amazing. Carbed both to 3 volumes, looking...

I'll be honest, I was sceptical, but Belle Saison is a beast. OG was 1.055, started at 18C and ramped it over 2 weeks to 28C. Currently sitting at 1.003 (Beersmith calculated expected FG of 1.009). Will bottle in a week, looking forward to this one.

I'm not phased about leaving it unsecured on my local LAN, but I'd think twice before making it available over the web without some level of password security. I'm still waiting for my eBay order to arrive, including my wifi dongle for the PC becoming my server, but I'll probably go the...

Yup :D I'd still like to see security added at the application level, and I see there's a task on the brewpi forum to do that, but I'm not sure how long that'll take.

I think it's worth pointing out that the above method provides security by obscurity. Just because someone can't get to index.php doesn't mean they can't call the javascript functions (which call the other .php files) It's really up to you how much security you want, but just know that this...

Got my fridge last weekend and just put in a big eBay order for the following: Arduino Uno 2 Channel Relay Bunch of dupont cables Resistor Temperature probes Heat shrink USB Wifi dongle (for the old PC currently unused) Ceramic heat emitter Now to wait patiently for them to arrive... :D

Any idea on how many packets of belle Saison are required for a 6gal batch? I've heard conflicting reports, but everyone on here seems to think its a beast, so maybe a packet will be enough?
