    Floating dip tube

No way. I think the floating dip tube in the fermenter is one of the best inventions ever. I use this in my all rounder and it works great. Prior to having the filters we used to have small amounts of hops get blocked in the poppet and since the filter end this issue has been prevented. With...

    Floating dip tube

To be honest with you I have never really liked fermentation in corny keg as they: 1. Are a bit more tricky to get your hand in and clean 2. It's difficult to see what is going in stainless steel vessels so if you have a lot of floating hop material or the dip tube is tabgled on a hop bomb it's...

    Floating dip tube

From my experience if you have the dip tube too high it will start to suck air. The floating dip tubes have three different height settings on them. Which one are you using here: I have also seen some customer who want it to go even deeper just use another stainless ring and extend the...

    Picnic Tap 2.1 trouble

Have any of you guys compared this Picnic Tap 2.1 with our own Nukatap Mini. It would be great if one of you guys could do a review. If any of you guys are prepared to upload a video review with both products side by side we would be happy to ship you a sample one of ours to test out but...

    Picnic Tap 2.1 trouble

Just out of interest how does this tap differ to this product: https://www.liquibox.com/products/worldwide-dispensers/twist-taps/ The tap you guys seem to call Picnic Tap 2.1 looks it's been chopped off the TruTap for bag-in-box. Is this the same product but someone has modified it to fit...

    Brewzilla Gen4 Discussion/Tips Talk

By the way we have changed the firmware now so when you get a new unit and turn it on the elements do not come on straight away.

Is this being run on the 110v or 220v supply? I have not seen this happen before even when we have done dry boil testing here. During the R&D process we repeatedly dry boiled the BrewZilla Gen 4 dry to intentionally abuse the elements and normally the boil dry would trigger before any burn...

    Duofiller?

We have already selected some customers who contacted us and sent out some free units. Most of them have given us feedback which we have acted on and been able to put in a few extra features in our new firmware that I think they will appreciate. ItsReck1 - With respect to your Duofiller Gen 2...

It might be worth you checking a few settings. The 20F or 25 F for the sensor differential is fine. I would also set the temp hysteresis to about 1F or 2F Max I would make sure that the bluetooth probe is correctly paired I would make sure that you go into the "Temperature sensor" setting and...

    Kegland kegerator repair

Hey guys. Most of our distributors will order spare parts if you can identify what the issue is. Generally speaking it's very rare to see a failure of the kegerators within the first 3 years. If a problem occurs in the first three years the most common issue is a gas leak but this is normally...

If you use the Bluetooth thermometer and you want to continue using PID you will be required to completely change the PID settings. The PID settings using the inbuilt thermometer at the bottom of the boiler and the Bluetooth thermometer in the core of the malt pipe will be completely different...

Yes unfortunately we have seen this a couple times. Its not common but we have spoken with the IEC cord and plug manufacturers and the advice we have been given is that the plug and cord need to be firmly pushed together. With high amp applications in particular it is important that they are...

If you want to load the false bottom with weight I would suggest getting this one instead: https://www.kegland.com.au/products/35l-heavy-duty-false-bottom-for-digiboil-and-brewzilla This one is designed to actually be loaded. The one you have in the shot is just designed to be a pump...

Can you send us any photos of the scorching? This is quite difficult to do as the watt density is quite low already. We the Gen 4 is even lower but the older 3.1.1 was still quite low watt density too. Also with triggering the boil dry sensor this also sounds strange as all 3.1.1 models used...

    Oxebar Keg?

I am not sure that is really a good comparison. The plastic kegs referred to in this article were injection molded glass reinforced plastic kegs that are very brittle and they had a tendency to burst in a way that shot out dangerous solid fragments if they were over-pressurised. The kegs had...

So you guys are aware we will have a fitting to do the same thing soon and our distributors in Europe will have it available. We will get first stock in Australia in about 4 weeks and then they will be available in Europe in about 2-3 months from now. It's quite an inexpensive plastic device.

This does seem to work ok. We have been doing some experiments with this and a fly sparge fitting can be useful. It's not essential but it's a good alternative to using the top screen while reducing the chance of channeling at the same time.
