    Brewzilla Gen4 Discussion/Tips Talk

I have read the post 452 and this post really makes no sense to me. The BrewZilla has been designed so that in order for the relays for the elements to turn on it requires a signal from the controller model. If that signal disappears for any reason the elements turn off. For instance: 1. If...

I am sorry you feel this way govner1. We will endeavor to check this forum more frequently. As you can imagine we sell product to more than 50 different countries and it's difficult to monitor forums in every area. With that said if you guys want the fastest response you can also join our...

Yes you can run the pump at any temperature. I pretty much run the pump all the time. I do find that even during the boil running the pump does help to prevent boil overs. I am not sure why this is the case but the agitation of the wort seems to improve the results for me anyway. During...

Hey DuncB. Can you please send us the MAC address of your device. If the boiler is boiled dry normally the boil dry switch will be triggered and it's just a matter of waiting for the thermal overload to reset and the unit will work again after this. If your device was connected to the...

Thanks for this comment. We will also do more experimentation starting the pump up fast and starting slow and see if we can determine the optimal pump speed.

Bucket Blaster: Worth it or Gimmick?

We did originally try some off the shelf CIP balls for this product but to be honest all the CIP balls that are in the marketplace at the moment are designed for large pumps. Really in order to drive a CIP ball properly you need about 1 bar pressure and quite a high flow rate. Given that this...

Thanks for that. Is there any chance you can send a video. I am curious to know how well it throws especially in the upward direction. I was under the impression that this CIP ball required higher pressures to drive the CIP.

This is a bit strange. It would be good to know more about your process. We dont get blockages when we use the system ourselves so we are wondering if there is something that we are doing differently. Just out of interest do you have the pump turned off for a any length of time. Is it...

Yes there are a few youtube videos of people upgrading the pump. It really comes down to what you are using the BrewZilla for. If you are using immersion chiller the standard pump is fine but some people who are using the counter flow chiller may find it preferable to go to a larger pump.

Thanks for that. If this is the case we really need to make sure all the connections are secure. We have seen a similar instance of this when the IEC cable is not fully plugged into the socket. If the cable is half plugged in the cable can arc and the constant arcing will heat up the terminals...

Haha. Thanks for that. The Nukatap FC does have the option for a auto off spring and so does the Nukatap Mini but if you are using Perlick this can be a good option for you.

Ok great. Thanks for that. For most spouts that are approximately 10mm ID the ideal flow rate should be about 300ml-450ml per 10 seconds. I will wait to hear back with you on the other measurements and hopefully we can find the issue.

Can you please take some measurements for me. Can you please pour a beer into a disposable plastic cup that has very little thermal mass. Measure the temperature of this beer inside the cup. Also can you send a photo of the beer lines immediately after you pour and then after 5 minutes. I...

Perlick Flow Control v Kegland Disconnects v Nukatap

If you have air in the beer line you most likely have an issue with the lines not being correctly balanced. Either beer too warm, beer too carbonated, or not enough dispense pressure to keep the gas in solution. This is normally the case. It's impossible for air to get into the QD and if there...

I personally prefer the duotight plastic to the stainless steel ones. We still sell a lot of stainless steel ones and we are happy to make more margin in the stainless product for those customers who want to spend more but I personally I think the plastic work better for a few reasons: 1. The...

    CO2 Regulator

Just out of interest how do you use the shutoff valve? Is it not just as easy just to twist the knob anticlockwise a couple turns? I am not trying to change your mind but just want to better understand the need for the valve.

    CO2 Regulator

Hey Broken Crow. When you say you would like to purchase one that is better quality than the one that we have is the ball valve the only thing that you would like to see on our regulators or did you want to see the any other changes to the regulator model? The reason I ask this is that we are...

SPINDELMATE (Yet another iSPINDEEL, TILT hydrometer and RAPT PILL datalogger and temperature controller).

No worries at all Klaus. Well we will do what we can to help and we will try and collaborate with you. At the end of the day we will be putting the money and time into developing the boards anyway so we are happy to share what we have with you. I will continue the discussion with you via PM.

SPINDELMATE (Yet another iSPINDEEL, TILT hydrometer and RAPT PILL datalogger and temperature controller).

Hello There. It would be great to talk to you about this. We are in the process of mass producing a new board with ESP32 with OLED 0.96 inch screen and 4 buttons. The board and device is primarily used for our new digital regulator and digital spunding valve but the same board could be purely...
