    Sourcing Oxygen Cylinders

I called Airgas before posting this. They want ~$250! It would come filled with O2 but geez... lol Sounds like $83-$93 is about the "best" price unless I got lucky finding somebody wanting to sell theirs cheaper.

    Sourcing Oxygen Cylinders

I'm wanting to purchase an O2 cylinder, probably a 20CF. Need a CGA-540 valve on it for use with the regulator I purchased. I don't care if its used. I can get one of these new (steel) from Amazon or another online supplier I found for $83-$93 delivered. Does anyone know of maybe a better...

Fermentrack: Fermentation monitoring & BrewPi-www Replacement for Raspberry Pi

After getting Fermentrack running and playing with profiles and switching options for Control Mode, I think I kinda answered my own question I posted a few days ago about changing operation during fermentation. Aside from switching to a new profile as suggested by @Thorrak , I can always switch...

Fermentrack: Fermentation monitoring & BrewPi-www Replacement for Raspberry Pi

Welp... After I selected the correct Brew-Pi firmware (RevC) that matched the wiring diagram I've been using, I was able to assign temp probes and am getting input! IT'S ALIVE! A bit of a learning curve, just makes me want to keep digging in more. I've obviously got a LOT to learn about this...

Fermentrack: Fermentation monitoring & BrewPi-www Replacement for Raspberry Pi

Did I toast my Arduino Uno? I finally got around to wiring up my Arduino Uno for use with Fermentrack. I started the guided controller wizard, everything seemed to be going well. My controller was new and needed to be flashed. I started that process, it was detected and everything seemed...

    Tilt hydrometers

You trying to talk me down from picking up a Tilt Pro? lol I've come to that same conclusion many times over. But I'm working on a Raspberry Pi/Arduino with Fermentrak and have been thinking the Tilt would be cool to have data from too.

Fermentrack: Fermentation monitoring & BrewPi-www Replacement for Raspberry Pi

I don't see this in the FAQ, perhaps its not an FAQ.. lol I'm wondering if/how I can make changes to an active fermentation profile after its started. For example, lets say I'm using a profile that has been set for a 7 day primary phase before it starts a cold crash. But along the way I...

BrewPi Remix – What’s Old is New Again

I don't have a 3D printer... :( I guess I was hoping for something I could just buy. Looking at something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B87V7QTH/ Guessing it should work just fine. But was wondering what others may have used and hoping for pics etc to get ideas.

BrewPi Remix – What’s Old is New Again

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good project box that I can use to mount both the RaspberryPi and Arduino UNO into for a "clean" controller enclosure?

First use of my EasyDens/SmartRef combo... I had calculated an FG of 1.014 for the beer I packaged last night. I did this using my years long method of refractometer readings and averaging the results from multiple online calculators. Insert EasyDens... EasyDens measured the FG at 1.015...

    New Fermenter Shopping

If showing off the bling is a goal, then look for a commercial refrigerator with a glass door like @Bobby_M suggested. This will cost more but still likely less than a glycol setup and it would be less troublesome too. You might look for some online auction sites where things like this often...

    New Fermenter Shopping

To the OP.. I have my CF10 inside a 21 CF Frigidare upright freezer. I picked it up used for ~$300. Much cheaper than a glycol setup! It works great. I did have to cut off the plastic shelf thing that was attached to the inside of the door so that the CF10 would fit without having to rotate...
