    Yeah. You could also consider making a cheap heat stick. Probably would only cost you about 40 bucks with all the parts and you could probably get it for 30 or so if you look hard enough. Just something small, 1000-1500 watts would kick the induction up enough to very easily do 4+ boils.

    Yes i have the 1800w pro version, the same one you linked in Amazon. I think it could do 4gallons, but keep the top on your kettle or you wont get there..

    I used one of these for my first few extract brews. My only suggestions are to KEEP THE LID ON! If you dont, you will find that it will not hold a boil. I did 3gallon boils, and it struggled at times. I'd say it took about an hour or so to hit rolling boil, and if you dont keep the lid on it...

    The hop additions are not what i meant, i want .25oz for each addition. That probably brings me a little closer as far as IBU's go. What would you suggest for the later additions instead of the Cascade?

    The temp 67is with the prob on the Carboy and insulated. Water temp is much lower so I'm thinking that the 67 should be pretty close to the temp inside the Carboy so my temps shouldn't be too high for many esters to arise
