    I had no idea that boiling with the lid partially on could contribute to DMS. To be honest, i had only heard about DMS until now but never looked into what it could actually do. I'll definately be brewing with my top off from now on, my boil kettle top that is :p

    I bought frozen raspberries which should have been sanitized already while packaging (I think) and I had no issues what so ever with mine.

    Run boiling wort through it before flame out. I use mine for everything right now and love it. I'll be buying a second pump as well to use.

    When you stay up till 3 am on a weekday brewing because you are going Camping the following day for 4 days and have a hefe that needs to rack to a keg JUST so that you can use the yeast cake for another hefe. Or maybe that just means im a cheap-ass.

    I used my Tan pump yesterday to transfer and recirc and I'm so very happy with it, i'm going to buy another one. I've been lifting my full keggle from the floor to my brewstand and with the Tan it saves my back.

    How long would you leave it on the raspberries before kegging? I know you said 2 weeks, but many other rasp wheat beers around here say after 6 days to pull it off them. I might give them a week and transfer to Keg and condition for the second week, instead of 2 weeks on the raspberries

    Brewed this a week ago. Hydro sample tasted amazing without the Raspberries. Added 3lbs of rasp and racked to secondary. Will sit for a 2 weeks to soak up that goodness, but alot of the raspberries were turning white after just a few hours!
