Suggestions for a Peach Pale Ale

Afternoon, wanted to enter a peach pale ale into a local beer comp down here in south carolina. I'd like to use some local produce, and add it to the secondary. It's a full grain batch, and I already have it sitting in the fermenter bubbling away. I was going to rack it to the secondary in...

    Didn't have yeast!

you know what...I was drinking a homebrew while I was making it. and on top of that, I did a one for my homies thing and poured a splash into the wort kettle. but it still boiled for about 30 min after that, wouldn't that have killed any left over yeast in the bottle of brew? thanks for the...

    Didn't have yeast!

Sooo...this past sunday, I had some spare time and some clean equipment, so I decided to brew up a batch of honey-wheat I had bout a week or so ago. Went through the process wich I feel pretty comfortable with, cooled the wort and strained it into my carboy, checked the temp and it was ready...

    In Trub-le?

Thanks for the help everyone. I think I'm going to get it into the 2nd carboy just for a little practice, losing a little volume doesn't concern me too much at this point. I appreciate the input and I'll repost in a few weeks when I crack my first one open!

    In Trub-le?

the yeast storm is pretty wild to watch. theres a good amount of sediment swimming around, and some build up on the bottom. I imagine that it'll all settle over the next few days, and when I transfer it to the 2nd carboy, and then to the bottling bucket at the end of it, most of it should be...

    In Trub-le?

Awful pun, I know. Just brewed up my first batch last night, a partial grain english pale ale. the boil went fine, steeped the grain bag, dissolved the powdered malt extract, tossed in my boiling hop pellets. boiled it for about 40 min than tossed in my whilflock tablet that came with it...
