    Ohio NEO Topsflo TD5 NIB

I bought a Topsflo TD5 and then changed my mind in modifying my 10 year old build. I don’t care to return to store. This thing has never been plugged in and is NIB. $120 and I’ll ship it from 44718. Cheers.

Did I pick my first batch of Nuggets at the correct time?

This is a pictures of my first batch ever of homegrown hops. These are Nuggets. I grew Liberty as well, but they are slightly behind. I think a few in the picture below are a little "green" for lack of better terms. I was trying to pick them when the flowers start to lose their...

So Cal Hops - Growth Stopped and Leaves start to Yellow

I have a similar issue going on with my hops. At the bottom of the plant, a few leaves are almost completely "holed" out and yellow. As you go up the plant (~15 feet long), when you get halfway, the leaves appear to be OK. As you go up from 0-7feet, you see the leaves appear to be somewhat...

    Stuck Barley Wine at 1.058

Hello, Started at 1.310 and right now is stuck at 1.058 (for probably at least 2 months now...). It's already been transferred from the primary to the secondary. Using US-04 Safale yeasties. Should I re-pitch another couple packs of yeast? Swirl around some with the airlock off to...

Good taste at kegging, but not after aging and drinkin...

I am using spring water when I boil for priming. My first beer with home filtered water is on deck next, so we will see if that's the problem. I really think it's my priming sugar or water...

Good taste at kegging, but not after aging and drinkin...

I use an auto siphon that I take apart and clean every time. I don't think it is this, but it could be happening during the racking process...

Good taste at kegging, but not after aging and drinkin...

I love beer more than you can imagine, LOL. We are all members of the same pitfall here... I will try cleaning the kegs a little better next time. I am purging the headspace of O2 when kegging. I think on this latest batch, I am going to force carb with no priming sugar...

Good taste at kegging, but not after aging and drinkin...

My latest beer I just transferred to the secondary will be going into the keg this weekend. I am going to test out this theory and see if it could be the case. I always thought that you aged them for 6-8 weeks though for the best, non-green taste...
