So I wouldn't be able to let it sit like my other batch that's in regular capped beer bottles?

For my second batch of EW apfelwine, I chose to buy juice from sprouts that came in glass gallon jugs so I can bottle in the same containers. I thought there would be no issue but after reading some other threads about not having an air tight seal, im l beginning to think these are useless...
