How do I remove labeling from Stone bottle?

Ive done the muriatic acid and water mixture, it worked well and didn't take long at all. Worked great on corona bottles, and red stripe, but i haven't tried AB. be careful with the acid though, that stuff works good but it can get ugly quick. You can get it at the hardware store.

CFC - Is this the appropriate hose

When i built my CFC i used bobbys writeup as my guide but i couldnt get a good price on a water hose so i used automotive heater hose in 5/8. it was super cheap and can take the temp without any problem, and its not going to come into contact with your wort so you dont really have to worry...

I usually use the amount john palmer has in his book (been a while since i bottled). But i boil one cup of water with the corn sugar in it put it in the bottling bucket and then rack in on top of that and then make sure you store it at a some what warm temp. I stored one batch in the garage...

Sounds like your in the EXACT same situation i found myself in when i got my kit you are talking about. I have the aluminum tank, and MOST of the shops i have found want to swap, if you don't care about keeping your tank then i would probably just buy a tank at a local HB shop and then you can...

    first keg to tap

Thanks for the info, any ball park idea on what pressure? 10-12psi i have a 5' 3/16 hose on my picnic taps. Thanks again for the info, that is just what i was looking for. Do i purge all the pressure and then refill to 10-12 psi? I have no good way to bleed off the pressure to 10-12.

    first keg to tap

I have had my keg in the garage ~60° @ 20 psi. for about a week and a half now, i have not tried to tap it at all, but i would imagine from what everyone has told me i should be force carbed by now. My question is in dispensing my brew, should i pull my keg off the gas and purge the pressure...

With your awesome Apfelwein recipe you so graciously shared with all of us, i made some for a neighbors Bday and a former home brewer was able to drink some, he liked it so much he offered all of his old HB gear for the last 24 bottles i had left from the Bday batch. so 24 bottles of...
