Parti-Gyle Saving last runnings
Yup you should probably boil to sterilise. But I know that is a lot of bother for last runnings - especially when your brew kettle is obviously in use, boiling the good wort. Are you pitching your own yeast into these last runnings? You could just pitch some as soon as it is cool enough, then...- yorkbrewer

Is 7/23L head space too much?
Hi guys, Just got my USA IPA transferred to pressure barrel. It was a 20L brew but only 16L made it through to PB. So this means there's 16L of beer in my 23L PB. Is the headspace amount acceptable? FG was 1011 and I added 70g of priming sugar so I'm hoping there'll be enough secondary...- yorkbrewer

Anyone take the IBD GCB?
bb that's quite hardcore - all three diploma parts in one sitting! I've been advised to take one a year! I'm taking the GCB this November, been reading the matierial sent from the IBD and making notes, but would like some exam practice beyond the four questions they allow on their website.
