    First batch, first taste

    Just popped the top on my first brew. WOW! I can't believe it taste so good. I was expecting so much less. Just put second batch, honey ale, in the fermentor. Can't wait.

    I lost many r/c planes due to brew. I graduated to larger planes that I flew and then brew would kill you! Solved that problem. Welcome!!

    Twist off tops

    Why is the use of twist off bottles not recommended. I needed a few extra bottles during my first bottling and used a couple twist off bottles I had saved. They accepted the caps that came with my kit.

    Bottled my first batch last Sunday. Thanks to a UPS debacle the last 12 bottles I needed did not show up. In Ga, you can't purchase on Sunday. I had an old champagne bottle and cork, but no cage. I filled it full and put the cork in. That was a week ago. I assumed that once carbonation started...

    I tried boiling in my aluminum pot three times with no luck. Bought stainless steel and no more problems.

    Greetings from middle ga. First batch bottled over the weekend. Love sweet water blue, so I brewed a berry beer using blue berry flavoring. Hoping for carbonation now.
