Stupid question for ya' POL if I was going to run an all electric setup similar to your unit could I use 1 PID to run two different heating elements i.e. HLT and BK? Obviously they would not be on at the same time. So, with 1 PID and two switches would this be possible? Awesome thread, Congrats...

I am new to home brewing and am looking for some advice on setting up a mash tun. I have seen many brewers use large coolers with manifolds as mash tuns and I was wondering what size cooler would I need if I wanted to eventually brew 10 gallon batches. Any help would be appreciated. p.s. If I...
