In several batches Ive bottled, several days during condition I develope a white ring on the surface of the beer along the glass. I use priming sugar prior to bottling and was wondering if this was the sugar. Ive tasted the ring and cannot detect a flavor so its throwing me for a loop. Any ideas?
I'm having a difficult time connecting my corny keg from time to time. I'm wondering if there is a food grade lube that I can put on the connections to make it easier. Any suggestions?
I had brewed a batch Monday and set the Carboy (PET) in my chest freezer to ferment. Upon waking up Tues I started my coffee and went to check on how the fermentation went over night. When I opened the freezer I seen no sign of activity, I quickly noticed my batch had frozen over before the...
I keep finding only two with rolllers, the cereal mill and the malt mill. Any others anybody knows about would be great. I doubt I've been all over the net too but I thought this forum was to inform fellow brewers. All I need is a good direction. I could spend weeks sifting through forum threads...

Ive come across several all grain recipes for this beer. I would like to try this beer with a partial extract recipe. Does anyone have a recipe for this beer in their black book of brews they would like to share?
I am just getting into all grain and was wondering, what are the most common types of grain used with all grain brewing? I know most of the time it depends on the type of brew but I've read that some are used more often than others as a base grain.
I had a friend mention that there is a product made from the same material as a soft cooler that fits on a carboy that I think could be frozen and then slipped on the carboy. Has anyone herd of this?
