While making a Pinot yesterday I cut open the wood chips to add, not realizing until later when I was cleaning up that it was actaully a woodchip teabag that I cut and dumped in. What might the ill effects of putting the chips directly into the wine fermenter?
I just bottled my first batch of wine, the only thing is the corks didn't go all the way down, they all stick outside the bottle a little, is this going to be a problem during the aging
