That's good to hear. New to brewing, and I bought two BB Hop Nog kits. I love a real hoppy brew and this sounded like it would be right up my alley. I will have to practice being patient with this brew, sounds like it will be awhile before I can enjoy a pint! Thanks.
Have been looking at numerous conical 6.5 gal fermenters on the Internet. I would like to get one, but the stainless steel models are too expensive. Deciding on a plastic version, anyone have a recommendation for a specific model that is under $200 and of decent quality? Thanks for any help.
Actually I didn't use a bottling wand, I used a plastic fermenter bucket with a spigot at the bottom and poured from that to fill the bottles. I need to get a wand. Still learning. First batch and all......:D

The labels I made from a Googled Possum piece of artwork that I reworked with Sharpie colored markers and copied on a color copier. I left the area on his cape blank and can fill in "Ale"...
Last night I finished bottling my first batch of homebrewed English Ale. I call it Awesum Possum Ale. The two cases are sitting in a nice dark, cool place and I will give one the inaugural taste test on Christmas Eve. Wish me luck.
