yes suck back witnessed... airlock mid part touching the bottom with nearly full vodka.

OK more details... 1 Gal Glass Carboy. 3 piece airlock W/Vodka no clue about if fermentation is done.(first brew thats not Mr.Beer) Temp Change >10 Deg F( heater on fritz) I pulled the inner piece to reset the level and am hoping that fixes that.

I have one Question to add. Why do I keep getting suckback on my 1G carboy of apfelwein? I do have temp issues in the house. but have had suckback 3 times now it is in week 2.

I would but... the filters for it run $1500 a pop. I might be able to use a diffrent kind of filter.. but thats the qoute that the friend who orders them told me... EEEK... but they filter to .1 mircon ultra clean... AGF membrane.
