    Our Chocolate Mead Experiment

    I like to see such an old thread brought up again. The OP made it 3 years ago now! I want to know if all the batches mellowed out to taste decent, or if they were tossed out, or? How was the newer bigger batch? Merry belated christmas and happy brewing.

    Range Hood Condensation

    I have made 16 or so brews and always inside on the stove top. I generally do not worry about it too much but if I see them accumulating I just wipe it up. It is going into a boiling pot and sterilized. Most of my brews have been very delicious!

    I like thick, malty, beers that you have to chew on and it counts as a meal. I like minimal hop flavor so I always pull mine out.

    Skyrim and Mead

    I have not yet purchased a 360 or skyrim but I know in Morrowind, they have a flower called Heather which has been used in place of hops as a bittering agent and a preservative. Just a thought for a potential brew. I like the idea of Skooma too.

    I have broken 2 bottles using a black clamp. I think I just applied too much pressure. I live in an apartment building and often scavenge bottles from the recycling.
