i grew the hops and froze them??

have been using pellet hops, would like to use fresh. If recipe calls for 1 ounce of pellets would it also be 1 ounce if using fresh?

Thanks for all the advise, i made a 5 gallon batch, i mixed 2/3 cup table sugar and 1 quart water and made into syrup. I poured without splashing the priming solution into the bottling bucket. Bottled, stored in basement, waited 10 days. As i am reading advise, i am realizing that the basement...

hey, i am brand spanking new at this! Opened my first home brew and much to my surprise there was very little carbonation. One reason i am guessing could be that i stored in basement, might be to cool, other then that moving to a slightly warmer place is there any thing that i could do to...
