    First one is my Purple Day Melomel (a modified Schramm Mambo in your mouth) and the second Peach Melomel. Any risk of keeping these bottles upright (no wet cork this way)?

    Thanks, it looks like star anise and vanilla are options with the chamomile and cinnamon and orange peel (maybe I'll use coriander) are good with the mint. I'll post some pics of what I come up with.

    I have a mint plant and am planning on a mint and something metheglin. What about chamomile? I also have star anise, juniper berries, cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon.

    Well, I'm actually in Virginia (I'll update my profile) and am interested in some type of "homebrewing" degree or certification. Did you have a bad experience with the BJCP?

    Thanks for your thoughts. I ended up putting the strawberries and blueberries in a jumbo bag, put the tied bag into a 8 gal bucket and racked the mead onto it. Smells great! The first pic is the fruit in the mesh bag and the second is the rack.
