    Dry Hopping

Greetings, I'm hoping someone out there can give me some input on something. I just added dry hops to my beer, after adding the hops I pressurized my fermenter, which caused the hops to flush to the bottom of my vessel. I'm now worried that my beer wont be in contact with the hops in the way it...

    Spunding Valve Question

Greetings, I haven’t been able to find a thing on what I’m looking for, so I’m hoping someone out there will have answer. I just brewed a batch of beer and have it all transferred into my new fermentasaurus with the pressure kit. I also purchased the spunding valve, and that’s why my question...

    Metallic Beer?

Thanks for the response. I actually have mine set to 47 degrees at 12 psi.

    Metallic Beer?

Also, I don't think this has any relation. But the two beers that I've brewed that have ended in this result and become rather dark

    Metallic Beer?

Hello, Im fairly new to kegging (maybe 5 batches) and this is my 2nd batch that tastes great going into the keg, but after a week or so turns to liquid metal. I've been reading that I may be over carbonating my beer. If in fact I am, is there a way to get rid of the metal taste, or is the batch...

    IPA input

What would be the benefit of adding more at flameout? Doesn't that just add to aroma mainly? Also, I plan on ramping up my dry hops

    Mosaic IPA Recipe

Thanks for everyones input. I went ahead and dropped the 30 and 20 minute additions and added .5 of Magnum at boil and .5 of Mosaic for FWH along with another OZ at the last 5 min bringing my IBUs up about 3 pts total.

    Mosaic IPA Recipe

Snowden, thanks for the input... I've read both on here and in articles that its good to build your Hops from Flame to boil to try and get most of the IBUs later on, is this not true in your experience?

    Mosaic IPA Recipe

Hey guys, I was looking for some feedback on a recipe for an IPA Im going to brew this weekend. So far, every IPA I brew turns out mediocre and was hoping this would be a winner! Thoughts/Ideas? 7.2% 65 IBUs Grains: 13.5 LBS 2-Row 1 LB Munich .5 LB Crystal 60 .25 LB Carafoam...

So my brother-in-law wants to brew a Saison ...

Seems like the popular yeasts to use are either Wyeast 3711 or 3724. I prefer 3724 (more fruity), but most seem to like 3711 (more spice character) being that it finishes quicker. I kept my temps at about 75-80 degrees. As far as recipes go I'd suggest keeping it simple... The yeast is the true...

    Farmhouse IPA

As do I... But I actually enjoy the process of brewing more so than the consuming of the finished product, to me that's just the added perk.

    Farmhouse IPA

Update: the Crystal killed this brew for sure. Tasted like sweet tea with a farmhouse funk... I ended up dumping it due to the fact I had 5 other brews going one of which is a stellar Saison

    SimCade IPA

Thanks WayFrae! So gaining IBU's late in the boil will still add bitterness too correct? Cause I feel like thats where my IPA's have been lacking. I normally lean towards fruitier hops but I still like that hint of Pine.
