I'm going to give this a shot. Going to start with a 1 gallon batch. Don't want to risk wasting a 5 gallon batch.

You can always secondary for a week or two. It's an arguement you'll see a lot on here. That way, you take the beer off the trub, and then let whatever remaining sediment settle in secondary. Personally, I've never racked a beer to secondary, but I'm planning on it this weekend. :tank:

I'd like to try this recipe for my wife (Celiac) but she'd rather me do a 1 gallon test batch rather than potentially wasting 5 gallons. Any recommendations on how to scale this recipe back for a 1 gallon batch? Looks and sounds delicious. Thanks in advance. Cheers!

Thanks fellas. Unfortunately, my wife has Celiac, so she can't partake in my brews. Promised her that I'd try to brew a GF beer for her one day. We'll see how that works out. Maybe I am thinking too progressive for my brewing skill level. I might just be blinded by cooler brewing...

Anyone know if the manufacturer's dimensions of a fridge are the actually the interior dimensions? If not, is there an easy way to find this other than taking a tape measure to it? :mug:
