Experimental Beer Slim's Graham Cracker Ale 2.0

Just put out in secondary last night. FG:1.019 There was a thick oily film on the top that left a greasy residue on everything, but the sample tasted pretty good, mostly of chocolate so definitely needs more time.

Experimental Beer Slim's Graham Cracker Ale 2.0

Brewed this yesterday. OG of 1.074, smelled great. Used dark brown sugar to get a darker beer. I BIAB and the graham crackers had me stirring during the whole mash to keep my recirc pump from running dry. No real issues though. Got about 6 gallons in the fermentor, pitched onto a yeast cake...

Scored free keg set up, but...

Congrats. I got a free kegging setup from my uncle... got a 1/2 keg of a cherry lager he brewed 16 years ago, currently carbing up for a taste...:tank: I also got a tank needing hydro'ed. Took it to the company whose name was stamped on the tank hoping to exchange... turned out it was a...

    Scored 6 kegs for $100!

Picked up the kegs. They are in great shape. Original soda syrup remnants in all of them. They have all parts including full tubes. The guy even threw in a 7th keg he happened to find, so that's 7 kegs for $100! Christmas came early this year!

    Double the brew?!

Mission accomplished! 5.5 hours. 2 batches. 11 gallons of wort. 6 gallon AG lime citra wheat and 5 gallons extract orange wheat. That includes zesting, setup, and cleanup! I'm probably going to do this in the future whenever I brew and have room in the fermenters. I'll try and post a timeline...

BIAB Kettle Fittings. What is your set up?

    You're Welcome!

    Double the brew?!

The point was to make twice as much beer in the same amount of time WITHOUT staggering batches and without extending the brew day. The reason to do AG and extract is to stagger boils but get both batches done in the same amount of time. I plan to boil the extract while heating and mashing...

    Double the brew?!

So has anyone ever brewed 2 batches simultaneously using 2 separate systems? I have heard of using an extra cooler and mashing about the same time (one biab, one in the cooler) then boiling one after the other, but I am talking about complete simultaneous brews. I recently built my ebiab...
