Helping a friend brew this right now. It's his first brew and he said he wanted to do a wheat beer so we picked this because of its small batch size and simplicity... Taking some flavor liberties with a little flaked wheat and some sweet orange peel though...
I guess it depends on who you ask, while session beer means one thing to my craft loving friends it means something totally different here(like light lager and yuengling lager, stuff with lower abv 3-4ish)...
Regardless of its name or style I really do enjoy the Session Black...
I read through part of this thread and realized I must truly be blessed... So blessed... To come from a family of home brewers... Even the non-brewing part of my family has basic beer education... All of my current friends are craft beer enthusiasts or brewers as well...

I'm also a fan of Genny's Cream Ale... I think my lack of trying craft lager's might contribute to this... Too many BMC/InBev brands in my life maybe... Still not sure what my infatuation with the stubby bottles are :P

I thought just about everyone started in plastic buckets with bottles... I'm moving to a TAD/RHD system since I have an apartment and there's really not room in my fridge for 4 5 gallon kegs and some system to cool/carb them. But I do hate to bottle, I just don't find corny kegs appealing right...
Never funneled but still working on the world record for the pint chug of Guinness... real 20oz pint... ive got my 16oz down to 3 seconds... 2.2 is the record...
