I have a Last Straw Bottle Filler (http://www.northernbrewer.com/the-last-straw-bottle-filler) and a Copperhead Immersion Wort Chiller (http://www.northernbrewer.com/copperhead-immersion-wort-chiller) for sale. Both are fully operational with no leaks, etc. The filler has only been used like 2...

    More Fermentation Space Needed

That's what I was thinking but the chest freezer doesn't seem to be an efficient use of space for a single Carboy. But I guess I already have it. Trying to decide on another larger chest freezer or maybe a homemade chamber

    More Fermentation Space Needed

I started with a Haier 5.0 Freezer as my fermentation chamber with an STC-1000. I have since upgraded it to a BrewPi (which is awesome). It's great for single 5gal batches or 5gal and various 1 gal odds and ends. The problem I'm running into lately is trying to ferment multiple batches at the...

Yeah I'm going to stick with my copper immersion chiller for now. And maybe upgrade to a plate chiller later.

Ah pretty cool. How are you handing the bag? Pulley? Are you doing any sparging?

Leaning towards the GF but let me know if i'm missing something

Id have no issues with doing the circuit myself if the basement was unfinished. I'd just rather leave fishing the wire to the garage to a pro to limit the amount of drywall holes to fix.

Leaning towards the GF but let me know if i'm missing something

yeah I'm going to do that. Let's assume it's reasonable- is the recirculation setup of the high gravity style eBIAB worth it?

Leaning towards the GF but let me know if i'm missing something

So I've been doing 1gal AG batches as well as 1/5Gal extract brews. I'm ready to move up to 5gal AG. Electric makes sense to me as I prefer the finer control/ease. Here's my thoughts/requirement: 1. Not concerned w the ability to go larger (10gal, etc) 2. want to be able to do most brews...

    Crazy Idea....Digital Display Tap Handles

Yes, I'm with you re:blandness but the advantage of only having to plug them in to change them is pretty attractive for this use case.

    Crazy Idea....Digital Display Tap Handles

Bringing this back up..what about something like this? http://learn.linksprite.com/pcduino/arduino-ish-program/spi/tutorial-of-using-e-paper-shield-on-pcduino/ You should just need to plug the arduino into the tap handle to change it.

    Imperial Eggnog Stout

I'm looking to do an imperial eggnog stout for the holidays this year. I'm thinking of starting with a good imperial milk stout recipe and then adding rum, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, vanilla. Something in the neighborhood of Southern Tier Creme Brulee, but more distinctly eggnogg-y. Thoughts...
