    Keep as is or upgrade

Looks like an in line slobber box rather than a thumper, but would need to know internal plumbing. Looks like the pot still attaches to the boiler through a threaded attachment. Thats going to be difficult to switch out to a reflux column. I'd get an old keg to use as the boiler, and triclamp...

Using the Brau Supply Unitank Pro All In One as still

If you have a 6 gallon boiler, you can run a 3 inch packed column but would have trouble running a plated column (you'd leave a lot of product in the column). 15 gallon boiler would be fine.

    Separating ethanol from methanol

You likely have minimal methanol in an all grain brew. More typical in a fruit ferment.

    Beginner still?

Beerswimmer is correct. The flame test tells you only that you are over 60 proof to combust. The color does not distinguish methanol. It's one of many errors that George perpetuates in his videos. Also with a small boiler there is huge smearing that makes proper cuts impossible. Even 5 gallons...

Turn a Spike Kettle into a still?

1.5 inch triclamp ferrule is 5-7$. I silver soldered mine onto a keg because I don't weld. Most do it my way. Keg 25-50 bucks at yard sale or Craig's list. You can then use your existing element and controller.

Turn a Spike Kettle into a still?

Your challenge would be sealing the lid and making an inert gasket for that seal vs flour paste. The 1.5 inch triclamp port is small and would increase vapor speed which is bad in distillation . You would need a triclamp 90degree elbow, an adapter 1.5 inch to 2 inch to connect a column. And then...

A question about moonshine apple pie (as seen on Youtube)

You calculated correctly. Some even keg and carbonate.

    Question about Column/Efficiency

You will get negligible passive reflux even with packing. You need a reflux condenser at the top of your column to see an increase in ABV
