I racked my strawberry wine into secondary about a week ago.
I used fresh strawberries in a fine jelly bag in the primary. I hung the jelly bag for a couple hours to let it drip out and no squeezing took place.
then i siphoned the must to my primary leaving a whole bunch of lees...
OK. I know this is a really old post. but for those who need it, it can save them a lot of money. I added 2 tsps of meta bi sulfate to my 5 gallons of fresh strawberry must. Turned all 5 gallons brown in less than 1 minute. After reading this post. I went to the calculator that was posted...
