Started homebrewing in college but had to give it up once my parents saw just how much beer their money had stocked my shelves with. Got into it again this year, tried a few partial boils with a 6 gallon kettle. A Citra IPA, Blonde ale and a Sunset Jamaica clone. They came out okay but with a little twang. Started full boil with an 8 gallon kettle to do a porter that turned out WAY better. Also using starters now which is making my beer way less sweet.
