I've seen this before where you can just drop a bit of cheap dime store vodka or rum in the airlock and things stay sweet and clean on the ferment. Who else has done this? -- Trev

Sparky brags but has no recipes! :) I like the setup though, it could be better and you could help teach others! :) Keggels are great I hear! I'm using a stainless steel kettle. -- Trev

I would go whole hops if you can get them from your LHBS, they are easier to extract from the wort. You need to make sure your recipe reflects this of course but with my experience Promash has the same IBUs regardless of pellets or whole hops. Good luck! -- Trev

Did you add a slice of lemon to it? The acid in the lemon will kill the head. Someone correct me if I am wrong but I've had this happen with me. -- Trev

Those are the times when I chase my Wild Turkey 101 with a nice Hefe with a slice of lemon.. Does the trick! :) Turn on some Rush or Pink Floyd or Creedance. Good to go! Enjoy! Cheers!
