    [ATTACH]161265[/ATTACH This is mine. As you can see it is a light, bright cloudy yellow, the foam has left a residue line on top. I was uncertain as to how large of a carboy to use for 3 gallons of cider and feel that the one i used was far too large.

    1st time hard cider brewer - sugar application

    i'm now wondering if my yeast and yeast nutrient amounts sound right. I have taken the info that I have gotten off various sites and I am hearing that 2/3 of a pack of yeast and 1 Tbsp of yeast nutrient is what is needed for 1 gallon of cider. Any ideas as to if this seems right?
