    Hops direct

atonofhops offers a combo pack of 4 4oz packs for one price. This is nice for those that don't want a whole pound of one variety.

    Storing Hops from hops direct

When we sell to homebrewers, they are packaged in one pound vacuum sealed bags. +1 for the Foodsaver! Re-using the bag and vacuum sealing your hops would be the best bet, then storing them in the freezer.

Just mashed a similar porter recipe @158. The OG was 1.058. My final runnings were @ 1.030, so we made 3 loaves of porter bread. Yummy!

Thanks for the input. I believe that the US version is what we will stock.

    EKG or US Kent Goldings

The price I would have to list EKG at is $2.50 per pond more than the US equivalent. I only have one spot on the site and freezer, so I want to get something that will sell fairly well. I guess I'm just not really sure if the average home brewer would pay the extra to get the real thing.

    EKG or US Kent Goldings

Neither can I, and I've dealt with a lot of hops. However thier is a community amongst the homebrewers that believe in "purity". I guess I would be guilty of this myself. I am the guy that searches out the exact ingredients (even though I know my beer isn't nearly as refined as a true...

Help me come up with my 35th Birthday IIPA

here, here. I do an IIPA with the same philosiphy as dirty martini has stated, and I'm swilling in 30 to 45 days. The sugar will really give it a heck of an ABV punch, and the late hop additions will make it taste like it deserves to be there.

    EKG or US Kent Goldings

We have a dilemma here at atonofhops. I want to add EKG to the in stock varieties, but the real ones are really high priced! I've gotten really good pricing on US Kent Goldings, but what do you guys think I should do? I really would appreciate some input on this one because I don't like the idea...

Adding hops to Beersmith (Summit, Palisade0

Funny, but I just added Palisade to our in stock hops here at atonofhops and got a little extra in the package. I couldn't find them in beersmith so I added them (with the same info Beezer94 posted) so I could do some experimenting myself. Sorry I didn't read the post earlier otherwise I could...
