    I've done four 5 gal batches to date. All were good, but the only one I dry hopped was noticeably less sour on the palate. I don't have a way to test PH.

    My pots and Anvil bucket get this.. Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scour Pad (6-Count)-226-CC - The Home Depot with hot water And if that doesn't cut it they get this.. Scotch-Brite Stainless Steel Scrubbing Pad (3-Pack)-214C-CC - The Home Depot.

    IMHO I like the simplicity of Fermenticus Brew Log to start, and when you're ready to dig deeper Beer Smith is the go to.

    What do you do with your spent grains?

    I guess I'm lucky in this regard.. I live on a lake with noisy AF Canada geese. Depending on how many are around, 10-12 lbs of grain will be gone within the hour.

    Anyone good at IPA recipes? Leftover hops utilization. Brewday tomorrow.

    I'd go with 1oz Cen @ 60min -- 0.5oz of Col @ 30min -- 1oz Cas @ 0min. Dry hop with the Citra, Ama, & Gal. 57 IBU 9lbs Pale 1lb Mun 0.5 Cry 40 0.5 Cara Assuming a 5 gal batch.

    Step one.. Read the book How to Brew. Step two. Put a thin kerf cutoff wheel on a four inch grinder and cut the top out of the keg you’ve got.
