I use this same simple storage method. This year I have reused Wyeast 1028 at least 5 times now from beers with an OG of about 1050 - 1060. Another great article. Thanks! TPH

If it is an ale yeast being used, you still may want to give it another 2 weeks or so at room temp to fully carbonate.

I have tinnitus but haven't discerned any worsening from beer.

I would move them to a fridge.

I didn't think of this. I run the hot/warm water from my IC down the drain. Nrxt time I will fill a bucket with it and then place the IC in the bucket to soak/rinse. Thanks! TPH
