Need help with a wine cooler recipe

I haven't seen that thread, it's interesting. Fermenting sugar water is something I actually tried in an early trial (though I added fruit syrup as well) and it didn't come out right. Just tasted weird, and granted that could have been my fault, but it's not a direction I'd like to revisit for...

Need help with a wine cooler recipe

Hi everybody, I've been trying to make a "hard peach iced tea" for some time now. Basically I wanted Twisted Tea with added fruit flavor, at this point it can't be peach because they're not sold at my local market. I have a few questions. Basically I had several bad trials. What I want to try...

How do I vary malt amounts to my batch size?

Thanks guys. Turns out steeping grains add very little to the gravity. 7lbs LME in a 5gal brew with 2lbs steeping malts hits 4.7% which is great, it's what I'm going to use.

How do I vary malt amounts to my batch size?

I've got an idea for a Strawberry Blonde I want to make. I've used several extract kits in the past but I want specific hops for this so I'd like to buy all the ingredients on their own rather than have extra hops from some random kit with the appropriate grains. There's tons of recipes out...

Can I make wine from raw peach juice?

Jack Keller specifically puts his fruit in water and then ferments that liquid. From his website: Chop the apples into small pieces and bring to simmer in 1 gallon water, holding simmer for 15 minutes. Strain liquid onto the sugar in V, adding the zest of the lemon and stirring well to blend...

Can I make wine from raw peach juice?

Hello! Relatively new to homebrew, but extremely new to non-beer brewing. I have behind me a hard apple cider about a week away from its first tasting. I was wondering if I could do the same thing I did here with other fruits. For example, I would like to simply take peaches, juice them, and...
