    Agreed! Also, I don't typically take an initial gravity reading, mainly because I always leave the beer fermenting in the primary for 3-4 weeks. As Paps said, this gives the yeast a chance to clean up after itself as we'll as settle to the bottom. Some people rack to a secondary vessel after...
