    Graff (Malty, slightly hopped cider)

After 3 days my cider has seemed to stop "bubbling" completely should I just take a hydro reading to see where I'm at or is there any way of trying to get the yeast working again? Also it is VERY cloudy still and kinda dark, anything I can do at this point? It went into the primary on sunday...

    Graff (Malty, slightly hopped cider)

I guess one more question.... Since all that has bubbled up out of the cider to the top of the carboy should I stir/push it back down into it???

    Graff (Malty, slightly hopped cider)

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to brewing and wanted to give this a shot, I tried to stick close to the original recipe except added 2 qts Apple Cider and a 1.5 cups of brown sugar? I went with the safeale-05, 2 lbs amber DME, .5 oz Cascade hops, and everything else was consistent with the recipe...

    Man, I love Apfelwein

Hey guys I am about to brew a batch of this and had one final question. I am using a 5 gallon glass carboy with a rubber stopper and airlock. Will this be ok or will the fermentatino be enough to blow the rubber stopper out, I heard that this can happen sending gallons of sticky brew all over...

    Man, I love Apfelwein

I am planning on making a batch this week and picked up some Publix brand Apple Juice which is 100% apple juice, no concentrate. Also it seems to have a lot of sugar in it, 26g per serving which seems to be high as well so what do you all think?

    Irish Moss HELLLPP

awesome thanks a lot guys... my first batch was a coopers IPA which I just finished bottling and then realized that I was supposed to add in 2.2 pounds of sugar in the beginning??? So I just had to redeem myself and this one seems to have some serious potential. We'll see how it goes.

    Irish Moss HELLLPP

Hey guys I have been trying to make sure I am doing this right but I have a recipe for an Oktoberfest beer, and I just started my final 55 minute boil before transfering to the primary but I am planning on adding the Irish Moss with 10 minutes left. Is this correct? I saw that in another post...

    Fermentation Time?????

Ok well that sounds good then so it has been about 2 weeks and at this point it is just waiting a little longer and as long as the hydrometer reading is stable then I can finally bottle it?

    Fermentation Time?????

Yeah if I understand the process I am putting it in the secondary buckett then straight to bottles? So would that mean I should be ok to do so now or should I wait longer. I am just worried of it having an adverse effect on the beer for letting it sit for so long, but the temperature is very...

    Fermentation Time?????

I am brewing my first batch and everything seemed to be going well. It was in the fermentation bucket and bubbling away and did so for over a week and coming up on 2 weeks now. The booklet that came with my kit as well as what came with the ingredients said it should take from 5 days to 1 week...
