Hey Josh...take a look at the results of the Drunk Monk Challenge...The Vienna Lager AND the Oktoberfest were made in the Brewhemoth. In fact they were the first two! Thanks again!
Steve
The Brewhemouth functions equally well on 5 gallon batches. I have run 9 batches through since January. As far as cleaning, that is easy simply use oxyclean and let it sit half a day, rinse and fill with starsan. Done.
Dale my first beers made with the Brewhemoth will be going out to competition soon! I think they are spectacular. Will the internal temp control option add on be available soon?
Steve
I fill it up with water, dump in Oxyclean let it sit overnight and hose it out the next day. I then fill it up and add Star San and poof....done.... very easy!

You know I was looking at that kettle, Josh and Dale, and you could put a false bottom in that, jacket insulate it and create a MASH TUN capable of holding mash temp and able to make large batches. PLEASE work on that idea and tell me when I can place my order for one!!!!
Steve
I will tell it like it is: I have the one you mentioned with the weld-free PITA fittings and gasket. It was my standard fermenter. Then I was lucky and won the Brewhemoth in the HHHC. After taking possession of the Brewhemoth, my other stainless conical is for sale. It is a piece of junk...
I agree with the footprint thing. With two chest freezers down in the garage for fermentation and lagering, I am at my wife's limit. Plus I can only use plastic buckets in those darn things. Work hard Josh and Dale and I want to be the first to place my order on the retrofit when it works.
