I haven't pursued anything yet. I was exploring it because a local restaurant wanted to sell my beer (manager is a friend and loves my brews). If anything comes of it I'll keep you posted.
I tried to find answers on all this last year. I believe a brew pub does have to sell food, but I imagine you could just sell chips and salsa and get away without needing a full service kitchen.
I thought it was pretty funny. Especially considering that we don't really have hills and most shiners are in the Appalachians. Distilling really isn't a big problem in MS.
I'm surprised there wasn't more of a debate. I would have expected the more conservative politicians to grandstand a bit to appease their constituents.
I'm an AG brewer and wanted to do something for my wife (who hates beer). She likes white wines and sweet wines (Zinfandel, Riesling, or something fruity). Anyone have a simple recipe that might fall into one of those categories?
While some of the politicians are definitely idiots, the majority are successful business men. Their votes are being influenced by campaign promises, contributors, lobbyists, and to a smaller extent, their voting base.
