Ok so I have a one gallon batch of IPA that I brewed a little over a week ago and I'm about to take a hydrometer test. I don't want to waste any of my batch because iris so small so can I just sanitize the hydrometer and drop itin the 1 gallon fermenter to take the reading or not???

Yeah I made a few rookie mistakes for my very first batch.. Added WAY to much hops for a 1 gallon batch, and I forgot to strain when putting in the fermentor. Next batch will be better for sure though! Bought a mini fridge for temp control
