The bottles are now in my closet I set them up just for the picture. It would be cool if they could just sit there like that though. And yes I drank the mug in the picture and even flat it was pretty good.
When kids have GTRs and Maseratis I think they can afford the tuition but the jealousy comes from visiting during Halloween and Little 5 both of which were extremely fun
I decided to custom make my own extract kit but loosely followed Brewer's Best American Cream Ale kit. I am just looking for a little guidance so this is what I picked out.
Malt
- 2lbs of Briess Pilsen (dry)
- 2 2/3lbs of Munton's Extra Light (dry)
Hops
- 1.25oz Centennial Pellets...
well my favorite type of beers tend to be Helles beers but since those are blonde lagers it seems like it might be a tricky first brew. But I do not mind a pale ale so this seems like a great idea :ban:
I was just wondering if instead of putting sugar to create CO2 during bottling, if I could use honey instead. I want to give my beer a small hint of honey. Will this change how long the beer has to stay in the bottles before you can drink it?
Madison and Morgan is actually pretty close to my apartment so I am sure I will spend a good amount of time there. As for getting extra credit for my course work that would have been pretty awesome if I could get extra credit for making beer.
